We are getting all the serene and spa-like vibes from this family bathroom. Clean lines and a minimalistic design set the tone, while the warm accents of the wood effect vanity unit and brushed brass add a touch of natural warmth.
This bathroom started its life with a green suite, an airing cupboard and a window that looked into the kitchen. Our clients were keen to make this room suitable for all family members so it had to include a large showering space and a luxurious bath that both the kids and Mum could enjoy after a busy day.
We were conscious of the lack of natural light and the client wanted a neutral spa-like feel, so we decided to use light stone effect tiles for the floor and in the shower space. These large format tiles make for easy cleaning. The white gloss brick tiles add a different contrasting dimension and help reflect the light around the room, whilst still maintaining the calm atmosphere.
A focal point of the bathroom is the free-standing bath which is only 1500mm long but with the width of 800mm at one end it makes for a comfortable and soothing bathing experience. The perfect space to enjoy moments of tranquillity.
