Family Bathroom – Small but Luxurious, Calm and Cleverly Designed.
This family bathroom needed to work hard for a young household, practical for little ones, but still a peaceful, luxurious retreat for a busy mum. Despite the compact space, thoughtful design allowed us to include both a shower and a bath without compromising on space or style.
The key was choosing an Omnitub deep soaking bath, giving the comfort of a full-sized tub in a much smaller area, perfect for children’s bath time and equally indulgent for grown-up relaxation. The customer had the inspired idea to introduce open niches between the shower and bath, creating beautiful focal points that add depth, softness and personality to the room.
Soft, natural-toned tiles wrap the space in a calming, spa-like warmth, while gold brassware from Vado brings just the right amount of refinement. A wooden basin unit from Crosswater adds organic texture, grounding the scheme and enhancing the room’s serene, natural aesthetic.
With layered greenery, gentle lighting and elegant details throughout, this bathroom is proof that small spaces can still be both practical and deeply soothing, a perfect blend of family function and everyday luxury.
